Mayor Declares State of Emergency in Dubuque

Following Mayor Roy D. Buol’s State of Emergency proclamation on Monday, March 16, the City of Dubuque has taken steps to assist residents experiencing hardship associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Water shut-offs on past due accounts are temporarily suspended. Disconnection notices are not being issued.
  • Late fees on past due utility bills are temporarily suspended starting March 20, 2020.
  • The Jule has suspended fares and is providing free rides through April 11, 2020. For questions or more information, visit www.juletransit.org or call 563.589.4196.
