Integrating Yoga & Native American Spirituality
Saturday, September 23, 9:00am-1:00pm
Location: Shalom Spirituality Center, Dubuque
Facilitator: Nancy Thompson
Native American spirituality and the philosophy of yoga share many common themes, including respect for Mother Earth and all her inhabitants. These concepts are embodied in the Medicine Wheel and the Seven Directions, and also in the yoga philosophy integrating body, mind and spirit. In this interactive workshop we’ll explore these spiritual paths through song, simple ceremony, meditation and a gentle yoga practice appropriate for all levels of experience. We will close with noon lunch.
Offering: $30, includes lunch
