The Marketers of Bellevue are proud to present the second annual event of Farm to Table, a locally grown and created meal, on August 20, 2017. The Marketers of Bellevue strive to create awareness around local products and producers through Farm to Table.
The food will be provided from local sustainable farmers and prepared by Bellevue’s own culinary art professionals dedicating their time and talent to the evening. A family style served meal with light background music will create the perfect Sunday evening out in Bellevue.
Drinks and vendor sales will begin at 4:30pm and dinner will be served at 5:30pm. The meal will include appetizers, veggies, an entrée, dessert, and the choice of water, lemonade, or tea. Locally grown and produced wine from Iowa Grape Vines Winery will be for sale to go along with dinner. Along with Iowa Grape Vines, many Farmer’s Market Vendors and local Bellevue artists will display their products, which will be available for purchase.
“After the success of last year’s first Farm to Table in Bellevue the committee was excited to expand this event to be more inclusive of other local activities to help promote the arts, beauty and businesses of Bellevue, as that is the mission of the Marketers of Bellevue.,” said Farm to Table event chair, Lori Roling. “The focus on sustainability and local driven food development has been on the forefront of many people’s minds the past few years. It is Bellevue’s turn to educate on how we can improve the quality of life in our community.”
Tickets are limited and are available for purchase, $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Purchase tickets from The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce office or The Bookworm by August 15th, 2017.
